Nemat Lalehei

Born in the city of Rasht in 1952

He moved to Tehran with his family in 1954.

He dropped out of school when he was fifteen. Before turning to painting in1979,he traveled quite a lot in Iran and Europe, where he visited different art museums and had already become a professional in publishing business.

He started his studies in painting by making copies of the works of Picasso, Dega and Braque. His latest works were exhibited in a one-man show at Elahe Gallery in Autumn 1999. His works have been exhibited in several one-man and group exhibitinos in Iran and abroad.
